Woman kills suspicious husband by pushing him to canal with help of mother

MOHALI: A woman who killed her husband by pushing him into the canal at Mohali in Punjab with the help of her mother have been arrested. The 30-year-old youth killed has been identified as Gurdeep Singh. His wife Preeti Kaur and her mother Shinder Kaur were the two arrested. After taking him to the canal on the pretext of performing some rituals, they pushed him to the canal.

Preeti, who was staying with her parents for months, after a dispute with her husband, returned two weeks back. Preeti first told police that Gurdeep accidentally slipped and fell into the canal. When questioned more she confessed to the crime. She told police that she killed him as she was fed up of his suspicious nature. He even barred her from going out and wearing good clothes. The two got married in 207 and have a two-year-old son.
