Post-mortem report says RSS activist in Pinarayi died of cardiac arrest

KANNUR: The post-mortem report of RSS activist Jimnesh of Panunda in Pinarayi said that he died of cardiac arrest. City Police Commissioner R Ilango said the doctor testified that no injuries were found in his body and there is no other suspicion.

Jimnesh came as a bystander to his brother, a BJP activist, who sustained injuries in the CPM-BJP clash at Panunda under Pinarayi police station. The clash was related to the destruction of festoons in Panunda. However, BJP district president N Haridas alleged that Jimnesh was also beaten in the clash.
