Man hacked to death with deadly weapons in Palakkad

PALAKKAD: A 60-year-old man was hacked to death at Kulukkallur in the district. He has been identified as Abbas of Vadakkumuri in Vandumthara. The miscreants who reached his house Tuesday morning at 6 am knocked on the door brought him out and then stabbed him to death.

The inmates of the house said they attacked him with deadly weapons. Though Abbas, who sustained hack injuries all over his body was taken to Pattambi Taluk Hospital, his life could not be saved. There are indications that the accused have been taken into custody.
