Another girl commits suicide in Tamil Nadu, third case in two weeks

CHENNAI: A 17-year-old girl of Class XII committed suicide after she performed badly in the exam.

The girl, who was depressed after the exam, hanged herself when her parents were not at home. When they returned home found her hanging. They tried to cremate the body without informing the police. However, the police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.

Her suicide note mentioned that she was taking the extreme step due to the bad performance in the exam. This the third suicide case reported in two weeks.
