DPR of SiverLine project is the best, no chance of floods, says K-Rail Executive director

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: K-Rail has claimed in a public online debate that Detailed Project Plan (DPR) of SilverLine is the best in India and contains all the details regarding the project.

"The DPR of SiverLine has been prepared after adding all aditional details than any other Railway project. DPR and survey reports are available to people and anyone can check that.", said retired Additional General Manager S Vijayakumar. He said that the railway path has been passing through Kerala for more than 80 years and no flood was reported due to the railways.

At first, survey stones were being placed for social impact sudy and later it changed to geo-tagging system. The topographical survey for the project was carried out using the most advanced system available in India, 'Lidar', which gives very accurate results. K-Rail Executive Director P Jayakumar said that people will not face any difficulty in the aerial route.
