CM and wife arrive in Yusuff Ali’s Mercedes-Benz Airbus, video

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and his wife Kamala Vijayan landed in the capital city in a Mercedes-Benz airbus of the Lulu Group. The chief minister arrived in the chopper at around 2:30 pm on Saturday. He landed at the ground near the golf club in Kowdiar, after participating in a programme organized by a private channel in Ernakulam. Lulu Group Chairman M A Yusuff Ali also took part in the event in Ernakulam.

According to reports, it was decided to land the helicopter at the Thiruvananthapuram airport if the rains had intensified. However, as there was no rain, the chopper was made to land on the ground. The chief minister was received by top police officials. Last day, a Youth Congress activist had waved a black flag at the chief minister’s car. This could have been the reason for the chief minister to opt for the chopper.
