THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Central Water Commission said there is a possibility of floods in Kerala. Rivers in the southern districts are likely to be flooded, said water commission deputy director Sini Manosh while talking to a private channel.
The water commission has warned a possibility of flooding in Manimala River, Vamanapuram, Kallada, Karamana, Achankovil and Pampa rivers if there is heavy downpour. Sini Manosh said there is no situation where the big dams will be full.
The Central Meteorological Department has informed that there is a possibility of very heavy rain at isolated places in all the districts of the state in the next three hours. Officials informed that there is a possibility of wind to blow at a speed of 55 km per hour.
