Passengers can now exit IndiGo airlines without wasting much time, company introduces new system to attract customers, first in the world

NEW DELHI: IndiGo has started a three-point facility for passengers to get off the plane. From now on, passengers can exit without wasting any time.

Generally, airplanes have two ramps for passengers to disembark. Now, there will be three ramps. Usually disembarkation process takes about 13-14 minutes. From now on passengers can exit from airline in 7-8 minutes.

IndiGo Airlines is the first airline to introduce this three-point facility that allows passengers to de-board quickly. CEO and Director Rono Dutta has announced this.

He also informed that IndiGo will initially implement the three point facility in three cities Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi. The airline will gradually extend this to all stations, he added.

'We are always looking for new ways to improve our customer experience and make flying and our ground operations efficient and smooth. Adding a third ramp for disembarkation is a simple yet effective way for us to complete a smooth travel experience," said Sanjeev Ramdas, Executive Vice President, IndiGo.
