Woman jumps into well along with four children, all children die, mother survives

JAIPUR: A woman, along with her four children, jumped into a well following a family dispute. All four children, including a one-month-old baby, died while the woman survived. The tragic incident took place last night in the Ajmer district of Rajasthan.

32-year-old Matia jumped into the well, along with her children Komal (4), Rinku (3), Rajveer (22 months) and Devraj (1 month). Matia was pulled out alive soon after she jumped into the well. However, all her children died. The bodies of the elder three children were recovered last night. The body of the one-month-old baby was recovered today morning. A police officer said that the bodies have been kept in the mortuary for post-mortem.
