Professor 'forced' to quit over parent's complaint of student regularly looking at her bikini pics on Instagram

KOLKATA: A college assistant professor lost her job after a parent complained that his son was regularly looking at bikini pictures of the teacher. The teacher's bikini pics were posted on her Instagram account. After noticing that his son was watching this regularly, the father informed the college authorities. The assistant professor at the famous St. Xavier's University in Kolkata was forced to quit her job following the complaint.

The complaint written by the parent, named BK Mukherjee, is circulating on social media. Mukherjee says that he was shocked to see his son seeing the pictures of the teacher.

“Recently, I was appalled to find my son looking at some pictures of Prof. where she has posed in a sexually explicit way causing deliberate public exposure. To look at a teacher dressed in her undergarments and uploading pictures on social media is utterly shameful for me as a parent since I have tried to shield my son from this kind of gross indecency and objectification of the female body. It is obscene, vulgar, and improper for an 18-year-old student to see his professor dressed in scanty clothes exhibiting her body on a public platform,” the complaint letter reads.

At the same time, the teacher alleged that she was under pressure from higher-ups to resign for tarnishing the reputation of the university. But officials say that the assistant professor resigned voluntarily. The teacher said her Instagram account was hacked and private pictures were leaked.
