Madrassa Ustad and aide taken into custody with deadly drugs

KODUNGALLUR: A madrasa Ustad and his friend were taken into custody with hashish oil. Faisal (23) of Eriad Pay Bazar Mappila Kulath House and his friend Sreejith (23) of Pay Bazar Aanduruthi House were arrested last evening from Azhikode beach. They were caught by the police while smoking cigarette in between the palm trees on the beach.

The accused admitted that they applied hashish brought in a small bottle on the cigarettes. Three grams of hashish oil was seized from them. As part of the ongoing narcotics special drive in the district, a squad led by Kodungallur DySP Salish N Sankaran and Thrissur Rural Dansaf team, arrested the duo along with hashish oil.
