Survivor got more films due to case, so she escaped; P C George’s controversial remarks again

KOTTAYAM: Poonjar former MLA and Kerala Janapaksham leader P C George has once again insulted the survivor of the actress assault case in which actor Dileep is an accused. The survivor got more films because of the case, so she escaped, George said in a press conference in Kottayam. She would have faced loss in her personal life. However, in general, she has only benefitted from the issue, he said. He also lashed out at the journalists who questioned his bad remarks against the survivor.

The Janapaksham leader also responded to the removal of Sriram Venkataraman, who was accused in the death of a journalist in a car accident, from the post of Alappuzha collector. The major allegation was that Sriram was removed from the collector post due to the pressure of Kanthapuram. Pinarayi’s action was for gaining the support of the Muslim community. We all saw the dead journalist as a human being, not as a Muslim. Let the court decide whether Sriram was drunk while driving the vehicle, said George.
