gulf

KUWAIT CITY: People looking for jobs in the Gulf have been asked to be careful as fake recruitments are active. A lot of such fraud news is coming from Kuwait. The fraud involves issuing fake visas in the name of legitimate work.

Reports from Andhra Pradesh clarify that many people were duped by giving fake visas to Kuwait. 27,000 fake visas to Kuwait were found in Andhra Pradesh the other day. Recruitment agencies cheat domestic workers, unskilled and semi-skilled workers by extorting money and issuing fake visas.

When 37,208 visas issued from Kuwait were examined from January to April this year, it was found that were fake ones in them. Out of 37,208 visas checked, only 10,280 were found to be valid. With this, it has been proven that 27,000 visas may be fake.

The victims came to know about the fraud only after they reach Kuwait. It is also reported that the recruitment agents threaten them and demand more money from such people.
