Brothel under the guise of home nursing centre; Retired military officer arrested in Kozhikode

KOZHIKODE: A retired military officer, who ran a brothel under the guise of home nursing centre, has been arrested in Kozhikode. The arrested has been identified as Sugunan (72) of Kakkodi Sayujyam house. He had been running a brothel near the bank road in Kozhikode.

Along with him, an agent named Tajuddin (47), native of Kommeri, and a woman from Madurai were arrested. The inspection was conducted by a team, led by circle inspector N Prajeesh, based on a tip-off. The locals in the area told the police that it was a home nursing centre. The inspection was conducted as directed by town ASP Biju Raj. The inspection team comprised of sub inspector P Aneesh, SCPOs Bineesh, Sharinabi, Sahira, Umesh and Vishnuprabha.
