CPM worker hacked to death in Palakkad; CPM alleges that RSS is behind murder

PALAKKAD: A CPM local leader has been hacked to death in Palakkad. The deceased has been identified as Kottekkad native Shahjahan (40). The murder took place around 9.15 pm. Shahjahan is a member of the CPM Marutha Road Local Committee. Shahjahan was on his way home when he was attacked by two men who came on a bike at a place called Kunnankad. Although Shahjajan was rushed to the hospital, he could not be saved.

A Prabhakaran MLA alleged that the RSS was behind the murder. He also said that Shahjahan had received death threats through social media.
