Youth dies after falling from terrace while trying to hoist national flag

BENGALURU: A youth died after falling from the second-floor of a building while trying to hoist the national flag. The incident took place in Hennur, Bengaluru. The dead has been identified as Vishwas Kumar (33), a software engineer, who had been living in a two-floor building along with his family.

The accident took place at around 1:45 pm, last day. He reportedly fell down while attempting to tie the national flag on a pole at the terrace. He sustained severe injuries on his head and was rushed to the hospital by his father, but could not be saved.
