Petrol bomb hurled at DYFI activist’s house in Kozhikode

KOZHIKODE: A petrol bomb was hurled at the house of a DYFI activist in Vellimadukunnu. The attack was towards the house of DYFI unit committee member Sandeep. The CPM alleged that the house was attacked for opposing the use of drugs.

A team hurled petrol bomb at Sandeep's house in Vellimadukunnu the other day. The chair and clothes which were in the sit out caught fire. By the time the family came down, the group had fled the place. An alert committee was formed in the area against the drug mafia. Soon after this, the house was attacked. The CPM demanded strong action in it. The Chevayur police said the investigation in the incident is continuing.
