‘Boys and girls sitting together is dangerous’; If gender neutrality is implemented, then children will go astray, says P M A Salam

KOZHIKODE: It is dangerous for boys and girls to sit together in schools, said Muslim League general secretary in charge P M A Salam.

“Gender neutrality is not a religious issue; it is a moral issue. I am against the attempt to bring in liberalism. Efforts are being made to impose gender neutral uniforms. If gender neutrality is implemented, then children will go astray. Hence, I will ask the government to withdraw the move”, said Salam.

Last day, M K Muneer had opined that gender neutrality will destroy religious values. He had asked that if gender neutrality is being enforced, then why are homosexuality cases being registered and why are POCSO cases filed when boys have sex with adults. He also added that if gender neutrality is implemented then boys will be misused.
