NEW DELHI: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has begun probe against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. A case will be registered soon. According to reports, the ED has sought the details of the CBI case.

Meantime, hints suggest that the CBI raid on Manish Sisodia's residence in Delhi had revealed crucial information. Sisodia will be questioned by the CBI soon. The raids were carried out at 31 places in seven districts. The raids lasted for 14 hours at Sisodia’s residence alone. Following the raids, the CBI had recovered Sisodia's laptop and computer from the house.

Meantime, Sisodia and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that they will cooperate with the investigation. After the raids, Sisodia said that there has been no corruption of any kind and the central government was using investigative agencies to sabotage the government.

The CBI investigation was conducted in connection with the FIR alleging corruption in the Delhi excise policy brought by the AAP government, last November. As part of the new policy, licenses of liquor shops were given to private companies.
