KSRTC earns Rs 7.89 lakh through ship cruise

KOCHI: The income of ten-months in ship cruise jointly organised by KSINC and KSRTC budget tourism is Rs 1,37,37,500. KSRTC alone received Rs 7,89,000. KSRTC gets eight per cent commission from the ticket revenue and the cost of cruise.

KSRTC will get Rs 1,000 out of Rs 3,500 per person for the Nefertiti package. 175 people will arrive on each trip. Eight percent (Rs. 35,000) of this goes to KSRTC. In Sagarrani, out of Rs 700 per person Rs 300 belongs to KSRTC.

The ship cruise started on Novermber, 2021 on the idea of ​​KSRTC MD Biju Prabhakar. The project is to bring the people of other districts to Kochi at a low cost.
