THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A group pf former ISRO scientists, including former LPSC director Dr AE Muthunayagom, on Wednesday came up lashing out at their former colleague Nambi Narayanan accusing him of distorting history and making false claims. They alleged that the claims he made in the movie 'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect' were "a bluff" and "devoid of facts".
The former scientists said that 90 per cent of what is said in the film is false. "We heard that Nambi has claimed in recent interviews that all that's said in the film is true. However, 90 per cent of what has been told is not true. Many former scientists called me after seeing the film and said that Nambi has taken all the credit. I have asked for certain details from the present ISRO Chairman on the claims made by Nambi in the film about the cryogenic engine being brought from Tashkent. This is also false and once I get the details, I will take appropriate steps," Muthunayagom said.
