NEW DELHI: Hints suggest that several MLAs of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) are planning to join the BJP in Delhi. According to reports, some of the MLAs are unreachable. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had called a meeting of the AAP MLAs at 11pm. Meanwhile, reports surfaced that the MLAs are unreachable. A total of 48 MLAs out of 67 were present for the meeting. The AAP had earlier alleged that the BJP is trying to topple the state government.
Soon after the CBI and ED tightened its noose against Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in connection with the liquor policy, AAP alleged that the BJP is trying to sack the MLAs. Senior AAP leaders had revealed that the BJP promised to give them Rs 20 crores, if they joined the BJP and Rs 25 crores if they brought others with them. Meantime, the BJP responded that the allegations were to deflect the people’s questions about the corruption in the liquor policy. Amid which, the AAP decided to hold a meeting at Kejriwal’s residence.
