I became angry when they tried to take away the tab of my granddaughter who studies in Class 1, trying to file another case as Dileep's case collapsed: P C George

KOTTAYAM: Poonjar ex-MLA P C George reacted to the raid conducted by the Crime Branch team in connection with the actress assault case. The team led by Kottayam Crime Branch DYSP carried out the raid alleging that they fabricated evidence to sabotage the actresss assault case.

P C George alleged that the Chief Minister came out with a new move against him as the verdict in the Lavalin case was about to be declared next month. 'It is certain that Pinarayi Vijayan will have to go to prison when the verdict comes out. The case has been held up for 20 years by using illegal ways because it is certain that he will be punished. This raid is to prevent discussion on the verdict.

The Crime Branch conducted the raid saying that they wanted to find the phone in which Shaun George had spoken to Dileep's brother. The Crime Branch is searching for the phone in 2022 but it was reported missing in 2019. They received the raid order by misleading the court.

The police arrived at 7 am. I told them to open the door and to search everywhere. What they took made me angry. I have two grandchildren, one is Ammu, studying in Class 1 and Appu studying in Class 6. Both are Shaun's children. They tried to take away the tab of these two children. Their exams are going on. How can I agree with this? I felt angry. Dileep's case collpased in court which became a shame on the Crime Branch. So they are trying to file another case', said P C George to a private channel.

Meanwhile, Dileep's brother's mobile phones were checked during the investigation in connection with murder conspiracy case. It was during this time that the chats in the fake WhatsApp group created to sabotage the case were discovered.

A WhatsApp group was created under the name 'Dileepine Poottanam'. It is indicated that the group was created using fake numbers which used photos of Manju Warrier and others. They chatted to create an impression that Dileep was trapped as part of a conspiracy.

The raid was conducted on the suspicion that Shaun George, son of PC George, was involved in creating the fake WhatsApp group. The investigating officers had received information that Shaun George had gone to meet Dileep while he was under arrest.
