THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The KSRTC has ordered to recover loss from the employees who went on a strike. The corporation has ordered to recover a total of Rs 9,49,510 in five equal installments from the salaries of 111 employees, who had boycotted duties in protest against the restructuring of services.

The loss will be recovered from the employees of three KSRTC depots in Thiruvananthapuram. They had boycotted duty on June 26. Action has been taken against the employees of Pappanamcode, Vikas Bhavan and Peroorkada depots. The money will be recovered from 49 drivers and 69 conductors. In addition, on July, 2021, eight employees from the Parassala depot were absent for duty in protest against the implementation of spread over duty. As a result, bus services had to be cancelled, which led to a loss of Rs 40,277. Hence, an equal amount will be recovered from them too.
