DUBAI: Celebration continues as India defeated arch-rivals Pakistan in the first match of the Asia Cup. Not only Indians, but Afghans are also delighted with Pakistan's defeat. Many Afghan natives are expressing their support to India.

In yesterday's match, Pakistan scored 147 runs and India won with two balls to spare. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who took four wickets, Hardik Pandya with three wickets, and Arshdeep Singh with two wickets, put Pakistan in a tough spot.

Only Mohammad Rizwan, who scored 43 runs, and Iftikhar with 28 runs, were able to hold on to the Pakistan batting line. Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and invited Pakistan to bat. Rishabh Pant was left out and veteran wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik was included in India's playing XI. Bowler Naseem Shah made his debut for Pakistan. In the thrilling match, Jadeja was dismissed on the first ball of the last over, but Hardik sealed the victory with a six.
