THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Speaker MB Rajesh has warned Minister Veena George to give clear answers to the questions raised in the Assembly. The Speaker's action is based on the Minister's reply on the problems in the functioning of the Kerala Medical Service Corporation and the PPE kit scam. The Speaker directed the minister not to repeatedly give vague answers to the questions raised in the House and not to repeat such actions.

The Speaker's action is based on the complaint filed by MLA AP Anil Kumar. In his complaint, Anil Kumar had alleged that the health minister did not give a clear answer to the questions regarding the PPE kit scam. He also alleged that the Health Minister was repeating a template answer for most questions and many answers were delayed. She gave similar answers for all questions on cost of PPE kits and about contracts with a private company to procure PPE kits.
