'Vikram' creates history at Kollywood box office, ranked second in total collection

'Vikram' film starring Kamal Hasan is directed by Lokesh Kanakaraj. The actor created waves at the box office with this release.

'Vikram' broke several records and became the highest grosser film in Kamal's career. The film has a huge cast including Fahad Fazil, Vijay Sethupathi, Suriya, Chemban Vinod, Kalidas Jayaram, Naren, Gayatri Shankar, Arjun Das and Harish Peradi. The film had entered 200-crore club evenbefore its release. The OTT release of the film was through Disney Plus Hotstar.

Now the final box office collection of the film is out. According to reports, the global gross of the film so far is Rs 432 crore. Distributor share is Rs 196.5 crore. Gross collection in Tamil Nadu is Rs181.5 crore and Rs 91 crore is the share. The film earned Rs 40.5 crore from Kerala. The share received from Kerala is Rs 16 crore.

'Vikram' is at second position in total collection at the Tamil Nadu box office. Shankar's '2.0' starring Rajinikanth ranks first. According to reports, Rajinikanth's film earned around Rs 655 crore globally.
