Tried to watch ‘KGF’ five times but couldn’t go beyond half an hour, fell asleep, slams filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma

Blockbuster movie ‘KGF Chapter 2’ starring Yash and directed by Prashanth Neel had received overwhelming response from the audience and the film went on to break several records in the box office.

Now, acclaimed filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has come to the fore harshly criticizing the movie. In an interview, Varma said that nobody in Bollywood liked it. “When a film you didn’t like does such numbers, you’ll be confused and you don’t know what to do”, he added.

“A very big director of Bollywood told me, ‘Ramu, I tried to watch it five times but I couldn’t go beyond half an hour’. He fell asleep”, said Varma.

This is not the first time that Varma has slammed KGF 2. Earlier, he had tweeted, “I think KGF2 is like a large dark cloud casting a doomsday shadow on all other big films and the black clouds torrential collections are draining all other stars and star directors”.
