THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that deliberate efforts are being made to destroy the law and order situation in the state. He was attending the passing out parade of police constables recruited from various battalions. CM attended the function via online as the chief guest.

'Some forces are deliberately trying to destroy the peaceful atmosphere in the state and such action should be considered cautiously. I appreciate the police force for understanding this and for discharging their duties with honesty and poise.

Everyone should be careful to maintain the dignity while becoming a part of the force. Kerala Police has a new face. The police have adopted a people-oriented way of working during disasters and while executing duty. The aim of the government is to strengthen the force. Everyone should unite against drugs in a big event to be conducted on October 2', said the CM.
