BJP aims for 2024 Lok Sabha polls, former union minister Prakash Javadekar in-charge of Kerala

kk

NEW DELHI: BJP has released the list of leaders who are in-charge of South Indian states with an aim of 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Former Union Minister and senior leader Prakash Javadekar is in-charge of party affairs in Kerala. Radha Mohan Agarwal is the co-in charge.

Arvind Menon, a Keralite, has been given the co-incharge of the BJP unit in Telangana.

The BJP's move is aimed at winning more seats in South India in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Telangana and Tamil Nadu are the main targets of the BJP. The reason behind appointing a leader like Prakash Javadekar in charge of Kerala is the proof that the national leadership gives importance to Kerala as well.

At present BJP is in power in only one state in South India which is Karnataka. BJP thinks that they can become the main opposition in Telangana with the next election. The party is also counting on taking advantage of the division in AIADMK in Tamil Nadu to win more seats in the Lok Sabha elections.
