PALAKKAD: The stray dog ​​that had bitten a three-year-old boy in Attapadi had rabies. The dog was found dead yesterday. The rabies infection was confirmed after the sample was collected and tested. The test was conducted at RDDL Lab, Palakkad.

Akash of Swarnapirivu Oooru in Sholayur was bitten by a stray dog ​​on Thiruvonam day. The dog attacked him while he was standing in the backyard. The boy had injuries on the face and was admitted to the Kottathara Tribal Specialty Hospital.

At the same time, Minister MB Rajesh informed in the press conference that the government will approach the Supreme Court seeking permission to kill aggressive and infected stray dogs in the state.
