Hostel warden arrested in Hyderabad for sexually assaulting students

HYDERABAD: The police have arrested a hostel warden for sexually assaulting school students in Hyderabad. A 35-year-old boy's hostel warden of a private school in Hyderabad was arrested by the Hayathnagar police. The arrest was made on a complaint lodged by seven boys of the hostel.

He assaulted the students by threatening them with the visuals of using camera on toilet. He secretly captured these visuals.

He allegedly slept next to students who were sleeping alone, touched them inappropriately and harassed them on a regular basis, revealed the students. According to the complaint, he forced the students to watch pornographic videos. Moreover, the police also said that he entered the students' bathroom and touched their body parts. The assault that had been going on for months came to light when one of the students openly told this to parents. A case was registered against the accused under sections including POCSO.
