NEW DELHI: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal made a strange remark against BJP. It was during the Aam Aadmi Party campaign for polls in Gujarat that Kejriwal came forward with the allegation that BJP is trying to make Sonia Gandhi the Prime Minister after Narendra Modi. He was reacting to the BJP's claim that activist Medha Patkar is the Aam Aadmi Party's chief ministerial candidate.
When a journalist asked Kejriwal about BJP's allegation regarding Medha Patkar's candidature, he replied that "Please tell them Kejriwal has alleged that after Narendra Modi, the BJP is planning to bring in Sonia Gandhi as Prime Minister. What do they have to say about that?"
Medha Patkar was the Aam Aadmi Party candidate in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. The BJP had earlier made the allegation that Medha Patkar had hurt the general sentiments of Gujarat by expressing strong opposition to the Narmada Dam project.
