Received less amount as donation for Bharat Jodo Yatra; activists attack shop in Kollam

KOLLAM: A group of Congress activists has attacked a shop in Kollam over the collection for Bharat Jodo Yatra. The Congress activists attacked the vegetable shop in Kunnikode owned by a person named Anas. The local leaders got provoked after Anas refused to give the amount demanded by the party activists as a donation in connection with the Bharat Jodo Yatra.

Although the party activists wrote a receipt for Rs 2000, Anas said that he could pay only 500 rupees. Following this, the activists caused damage to the shop by throwing away and destroying items. The Bharat Jodo entered the Kollam district yesterday after completing the tour of Thiruvananthapuram.
