Cow tests positive for rabies in Kannur again, euthanised, people injured in cow’s attack

KANNUR: One more cow in Kannur tested positive for rabies. The cow infected with rabies was seen wandering in the Azhikkal area. There were wounds in many parts of its body. The doctor informed that it was similar to the bite of a rabid dog.

Three locals were injured in its attack. The cow was euthanised. A cow that was infected while being monitored in Echippara was shot dead the other day. The cow was seen running violently in the area.
