Actress Deepa found hanging; love failure reason for suicide

CHENNAI: Young Tamil actress Deepa alias Pauline Jessica (29) was found dead. Her body was found hanging at her residence in Virugambakkam, Chennai. Initial reports said love failure is suspected to be the reason for her to take the drastic step.

After playing small roles in several films, Deepa gained attention with her lead role in the film Vaidhaa. Deepa was one of the supporting actresses in Thupparivalan directed by Mysskin.

Deepa was staying alone in her flat. Her death came to light when the actress did not pick up her phone after her family members tried calling her.
