MOHALI: Indian bowlers once again struggled as they failed to defend a 209-run target in the first T20I against Australia here at the PCA Stadium in Mohali. India are now trailing 0-1 in the three-match T20I series.
It was allrounder Cameron Green and wicketkeeper-batter Matthew Wade who guided Australia to victory. Green scored 61 off 30 balls, while Wade scored an unbeaten 45 off 21 balls to guide the visitors to victory. With this, Australia won by four wickets with only four balls remaining in the match. Score India 208/6 (20), Australia 211/6(19.2).
