THRISSUR: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that the country is ruled by the government that promotes division and Kerala is putting forward a message of love. He was speaking at the reception meeting held in Thrissur during the Bharat Jodo Yatra. 'Kerala believes in simplicity. Not in anger. The country is being ruled by a government that promotes division', said former Congress President. Rahul Gandhi's remarks came amid a hate campaign against Kerala following the raids related to the Popular Front.
'BJP is spreading hate politics to divert people's attention. What Congress has in mind is not an India or Kerala filled with hatred', said Rahul. He also pointed out that the Congress has not caused the unemployment and inflation that Modi has caused in eight years. 'Money leaking from people's pockets goes to two or three corporates. What the central government has left behind for the common people are things like GST and demonetisation,'clarified Rahul Gandhi.
