Beautician dies after KSRTC bus hits cycle in Alappuzha

ALAPPUZHA: A migrant worker died after a KSRTC bus hits a bicycle. The accident took place near Kottarappalam in Alappuzha around 3.30 pm yesterday. The dead is Saif Ali (27), who was working as a beautician at Men's Beauty Parlour in Kottarappalam. Saif is the son of Jameel Ahmed at Sambal in Uttar Pradesh.

The accident happened when he was returning to his work place after having lunch. The KSRTC bus coming in the same direction hit the handle of his bicycle. Saif Ali, who fell on the road was rushed to the hospital, but his life could not be saved.

Ali was hit by the KSRTC ordinary bus going to Vandanam Medical College from Thoppumpadi. The police have registered a case in the incident.
