NEW DELHI: Congress observers have given Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot a clean chit in the political crisis in Rajasthan. However, the Congress has recommended disciplinary action against three of Gehlot's followers. Following this, a show cause notice was issued to minister Shanti Kumar Dhariwal, another minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas and Congress leader Dharmendra Rathore. Gehlot had informed the Congress leadership that he had no involvement in the movement of MLAs.

Meanwhile, the Congress high command has summoned senior Congress leader and working committee member AK Antony to Delhi. Sachin Pilot is also in Delhi for talks with Sonia Gandhi. The Congress leadership is yet to decide on the party's official president candidate. Meanwhile, Shashi Tharoor's team has made it clear that he has the support of 40 people so far.
