‘I actually need that much money, don’t have even one fourth of lawyers’ earning’, Salman Khan on Bigg Boss remuneration

Bollywood star Salman Khan has responded to rumours that he is getting paid Rs 1000 crore to host Bigg Boss Hindi season 16. The actor said that the news regarding his remuneration is untrue. The actor clarified this while talking to the media the other day.

‘If I ever get paid Rs 1000 crore I would never work in my life. But there will be a day when I will be paid this amount. If I get paid this amount I have so many other expenses like lawyers that I actually need them. My lawyers are no less than Salman Khan. My earning is not even one fourth of it. These reports are read by income tax and ED department too,’ said Salman.

Salman revealed that he is not interested in hosting Bigg Boss every year.’ There are times when I get irritated and I tell the channel that I don't want to host the show. But they don't have the choice so they come back to me. If they had choice, they would have replaced me long back. They would never come to replace me. There are a lot of people who have replaced me.’

The actor also opened up about getting angry with the contestants. ‘When the contestants go beyond the limit, I also have to behave harshly. But the audience will not understand why I reacted like that. Because they only see edited visuals. The audience cannot understand how much these people cross the limits of insolence,’ said the actor.
