AROOR: Police have nabbed four persons for possessing cannabis. The arrested are Nikhil hailing from Ernakulam, his wife Nina, Afsal, a native of Chandiroor, and Sakheer, who is from Fort Kochi. They were arrested from a rented house near the Keltron company at Aroor.

Interestingly, Nina is an employee of a private detective firm. The rest three are accused in several cases. The police also confiscated six packets of cannabis from the gang weighing 47 gm.

The police arrested them after a tip-off from Jana Jagratha Samithi. The Samithi had informed the police about the use and sale of cannabis by the gang.
