NEW DELHI: All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi has lashed out against RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's recent statement on religious imbalance in India. Owaisi opined that the Muslim population is declining in the country and accused Mohan Bhagwat of omitting this in his speech.
‘Don't fret, the Muslim population is not increasing, it's rather falling. Who's using condoms the most? We are. Mohan Bhagwat won't speak on this,’ criticized Owaisi. He pointed out that there is no need for population control in the country as it is already under control. Mohan Bhagwat had earlier said that a comprehensive population policy should be introduced in India and stated that there is no danger to the minorities in the country.

Asaduddin Owaisi said that even stray dogs get more respect than Muslims in the country. He was commenting on the clash that took place in Gujarat in connection with the Navratri Garba ceremony. Owaisi criticized the incident in which some people were tied up and thrashed, alleging that they pelted stones during garba dance.
