Male co-pilot stripped naked during flight and watched obscene videos, female pilot approaches court

NEW YORK: A female pilot has decided to legal action against the airline company and her male co-pilot over an indecent incident. Christine Janning, the female pilot alleges that the male co-pilot stripped inside the cockpit and watched obscene videos during the Southwest Airlines flight journey in 2020.

The co-pilot, Michael Haak, misbehaved with the female pilot during a passenger flight from Philadelphia to Florida. After locking the cockpit door, he stripped in front of Christine. Then he started watching pornography videos on the laptop. He continued this till the end of the journey and filmed himself in the meantime. He told her that this was his last flight and he wanted to do something before retirement. Christine complained as soon as the flight landed, but the airline company did not take any action on the matter. A travel ban was also imposed on Christine. Following this, the female pilot decided to sue the company.

At the same time, Michael Haack, the pilot, pleaded guilty in the court in 2021 following the woman's complaint to FBI. He was sentenced to one year of probation and was fined by the court. Following this verdict, the female pilot decided to sue the airline company for not taking any significant action in the matter.
