More bodies in Elanthoor soil? Police did not send Soman back from place where human sacrifice took place

PATHANAMTHITTA: It was Soman, who helped the police when the special investigation team reached Bhagawal Singh's house in Elanthoor and the nearby land to collect evidence with the accused in the human sacrifice case. Soman of Thiruvalla, had been helping the police to retrieve largely decomposed bodies for the past three decades. He had taken out around 4100 dead bodies for post-mortem. It was Soman who exhumed the mortal remains of Padma and Rosli.

Soman was brought here by the police before the special investigation team came to Elanthoor with the accused yesterday. In the land near the house where the crime took place, Soman dug all the spots following cue from the police dogs, but no significant evidence was found. Soman was absorbed in his work after skipping food and was only on water. A decision will be taken by the investigating team on more searches to be conducted in these places after questioning the accused again.
