MR Ajith Kumar appointed as ADGP Law and Order

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: MR Ajith Kumar has been appointed as ADGP Law and Order of the state. He would replace Vijay Sakhare who has been sent on central deputation to NIA.

Ajith Kumar will continue to hold the charge of Armed Forces Battalion. He was transferred from the post of Vigilance director and appointed as ADGP Protection of Civil rights for trying to withdraw Swapna Suresh's secret statement against CM in the gold smuggling case through intermediaries. The intelligence chief's investigation found that he was constantly in touch with Shaj Kiran on phone. Later Ajith Kumar was appointed as ADGP in charge of battalion.
