Life ruined after acting in adult web series; slept in railway station with baby, woman files complaint after youth

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A woman form Malappuram came to the fore soon after a youth complained of cheating him and making him act in an adult web series. The actress said that her life has been ruined after acting in the web series and that no one should fall into the woman director’s trap. The woman had earlier lodged a complaint with the Thiruvananthapuram cyber cell against OTT platform and the director. The complaint said that she was forced to act in the adult web series when she came to act in a serial.

She said that she is a normal housewife living with her husband and children. She said that she actually came to act in a serial. Later came to know that it was a web series. By then she was made to sign the contract and acted without any interest. However, after the release of the series, her life had taken an ugly turn. The situation is that she is not possible to get out of the house now. She said that she is not able to go for work, has no home and is sleeping in the railway station with her two-year-old baby. She (woman director) is responsible for everything. No girl should fall in her trap. She said that is why she is came to the fore. She said that she is speaking from the verge of suicide.

Meantime, the Vizhinjam police registered a case on a similar complaint filed by a youth from Venganoor in Thiruvananthapuram. The case is against the OTT platform owners and the director. The youth alleged that the contract was signed after shooting the first few episodes of the web series. His complaint said after that he was threatened and made to act saying that it was an adult series film. His complaint also stated that the director demanded a compensation of Rs 5 lakh if withdrawn from the contract. He was paid Rs 20,000 for acting in the series.

The shooting took place at a villa in Aruvikkara, Thiruvananthapuram. They said will give the contract signed in two days but has not given it so far. The youth is presently staying in his friend's house in Kochi.
