Stray dog bites old man’s cheek in Palakkad, can’t be stitched, say doctors

PALAKKAD: An aged man was seriously injured in an attack by a stray dog. The dog bit the flesh of his face. The incident happened at Koduvayur in Palakkad. Four others were also injured in the attack. The dog bit Vayyapuri, a native of Kakkayur, on his face.


The dog bit Vayyapuri when he tried to save his neighbour from its attack. The dog jumped towards his face and bit his cheek. He has been admitted to the hospital. The doctors said that as the part where the dog bit had no flesh it is difficult to stitch. Kannan and his wife Komala, natives of Koduvayur, were also bitten by the dog.
