‘Army knows how to give befitting reply to enemy in their own language’; Modi’s Diwali message to Kargil soldiers

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said war is the last option for his government. It is impossible to attain peace without power, the Prime Minister said in his Diwali message to the soldiers in Kargil.

‘War is the last option. Efforts were made to prevent war till the last minute whether it is in Lanka or Kurukshetra. We are in favour of world peace. Army personnel protect our country's borders. The country is taking a strong stand against its enemies. If the country is challenged, the Indian Army knows how to give a befitting reply to the enemy in their own language,’ he said.
