Conspiracy behind Swapna’s allegations, will take legal action: Kadakampally Surendran

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former minister Kadakampally Surendran MLA said that after consulting with the party, legal action will be taken against Swapna Suresh who has made allegations against him. “Allegations which have never been made in three years have now been raised deliberately. There is a conspiracy behind this,” said Surendran.

“She is a woman who suffered severe torture including interrogation by central agencies for two to three years. I am not going to fight against her. Swapna is now in the BJP camp. A media tried to drag my name into an unrelated matter. The party's state secretary has spoken out about the allegations.

After participating in a party program related to expats in Ramapuram, I went to Swapna's house as per the request of organizers. Elected representatives and local party leaders were also present. I came to know that it is Swapna's house only after reaching there. I only spent a few minutes just to have tea. I haven’t taken pictures by putting hand on her shoulder.

I also participated in UAE Founder’s Day and Veliyaperunnal in Kovalam along with her. She has contacted for programs related to UAE consulate. She hasn’t contacted me for the past four years. The allegation that I tried to trap her brother in a fake case is also false. It is true that I was involved in a big fight to grant justice for a girl, a graduate student and a party member. I am not revealing much about that. Swapna has been trapped in ‘padmavyuham’ set by Congress and BJP,” said Kadakampally.

P Sreeramakrishnan has also denied Swapna’s allegations and she responded by sharing his private pictures on Facebook.
